I’ve watched many changes take place in photography over the last fifty years. I started with film, then switched to digital as soon as I could afford a digital camera. When I decided to shoot Street Photography, I put my DSLR on the shelf opting for my Apple iPhone.

I recently heard a major photo contest was won by an AI generated image. Guess it was coming, but still that’s bad news for some photographers.

As for me I believe photography is all about the journey. It takes me out into the real world where a potential photo can change in a heartbeat. Taking the ending photo is only the end of one journey. Then it’s off on another.
