Hot Dogs
I like Chicago Style Hotdogs.

One of my simple pleasures in life is a good Chicago Style hotdog.
An all-beef dog served on a poppy seed bun topped with yellow mustard, chopped onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato wedges and a couple of peppers. Add to that one cold beer and I’m a happy blogger.
When in Illinois, I always stop by Portilo's for one of their Chicago Style hotdogs, but when I heard about a hotdog place in the Wisconsin Dells, I had to go check it out. Apparently I had been driving by it for years and never knew it was there.
It’s called Hot Dog Avenue and sits across the street from Noah’s Ark Water Park. It’s a small place with limited seating, but has a nice look and feel. I ordered up one of their Chicago Style hotdogs, tasted it and ordered a second. They serve up a pretty darn good Chicago Style hotdog.
Now their menu says they sell eight different kind of hotdogs and my plan is to eventually taste them all.
Like I said, “It’s the little things in life” and sometimes it turns out to be a good hotdog.
